Ashish Mishra returns to jail days after SC cancelled his bail in Lakhimpur Kheri violence case #IndiaNEWS
Ashish Mishra, the prime accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case and the son of Union minister Ajay Mishra, on Sunday surrendered at court in Uttar Pradesh, PTI reported.On April 18, the Supreme Court had cancelled the bail granted by the Allahabad High Court to Ashish Mishra. A three-judge bench of Chief Justice NV Ramana and Justices Surya Kant and Hima Kohli had directed him to surrender within a week.Authorities have sent him back to the Lakhimpur prison, NDTV reported. Jail Superintendent PP Singh said Mishra will be kept in a separate barrack because of security concerns, according to PTI.Ashish Mishra, main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence surrenders.
